Learn how to repair and service scuba life support systems from seasoned professionals in a state-of-the-art service department. If you are interested in becoming a professional technician in the Scuba Industry there are relatively few ways to learn unless you are working in a dive store. Our program is designed, taught and administered by seasoned repair professionals who hold repair and service credentials from virtually every major manufacturer of Scuba equipment.

The Training

Phase 1: You will be instructed in, and practice, correct use of tools and test equipment, regulator theory for first and second stages in both piston and diaphragm designs. You will experience hands on disassembly, proper cleaning and inspection routines, and assembly of regulators, initial troubleshooting and initial setup.

Phase 2: You will master advanced diagnostics, problem-solving on regulators and BCD’s. You will practice and master final setup, test equipment use, break-in and fine tuning of regulators.

Phase 3: You will intern with our technicians until you are prepared to attend a factory service program. This is the real “meat and potatoes” phase for those that are wanting to go into service as a career – either full or part time. This portion is totally open-ended on time and is purely performance oriented.

Phase 4: You will be sponsored into and attend one or more manufacturer’s factory Repair Technician Seminars where you will earn your credentials from them. Those credentials are what Scuba facilities look for when considering a person for employment.

Our program has no set start or stop parameters. You begin when you wish and you finish when we verify your ability and learning.
