1. You do not need to buy any equipment to start the course. Learning to dive should not be about "buying stuff." It should be about "what, where, why, when, and how?" Equipment is a part of that process, and we couldn't go diving without it, but it should not be the sole focus.
   
   Most scuba stores require you to purchase a mask, snorkel, and fins to take their scuba classes. Their statements that this gear is very personal and requires a good fit is basically correct. However, since there aren't that many different sizes and shapes of mask skirts, providing you with mask, snorkel, and fins that you will be able to train in is pretty easy.
   
   By using our masks, snorkels, and fins during confined water training you will save anywhere from $200 to $500 on your cost of learning to dive. You will just need to acquire mask, snorkel and fins for your open water weekend.

3. Convenience. Having our own classrooms and indoor pool means your course will be held in just one location with convenient scheduling. It is not required that you truck all over town on random days and times to attend your course. And, eLearning makes it even easier!

4. State of the art training equipment. You will train using the latest high-tech scuba equipment from Scubapro. These scuba systems represent the latest engineering advances in comfortable and safe dive gear.

5. Onsite, indoor heated pool. The pool at Divers Training Center was custom built for scuba training. At 14 feet deep, it's the right depth to realistically practice descents, ascents, neutral buoyancy techniques, and emergency procedures. Since it's indoors, and maintained at a comfortable 88°F, we conduct our scuba training year 'round.

6. Exclusive local dive site at Clear Springs Scuba Park. This small, private lake is used only for scuba training and scuba diving. There is no boat traffic. Freshwater fish species abound, and several boats, planes, and other artifacts have been sunk here to add to the adventure. We have our own shade pavilion, dock and underwater platform and its only 45 minutes away from the Dallas/Plano area.

7. Weekend, Weeknight, and Private class schedules are available. Classes start every other weekend and week. And, you will be ready to make your first open water scuba dives in just one week or one weekend.
