The quality of our service and repair equals the
quality of our training. DTC’s Scuba Equipment
Technicians hold manufacturer’s certificates from
virtually every major manufacturer of scuba
equipment. Our staff’s combined experience in
service and repair totals up to over 50 years.
We will
earnestly strive for the fastest turn-around possible.
Normal turnaround time is 7 days. In no case should it take
more than 10 work days for normal service and repair. Should
we have to order parts or replacements, we will tell you in
advance and give you an estimate on delivery. If you have a
piece of equipment in for repair and we cannot meet your
deadline for a dive trip, we will supply you with a loaner
for your trip.

labor only.

Parts will be estimated at the time of
acceptance for service.

There is a $25 charge for rush jobs.
24 hour rush turn-around is guaranteed when parts are
available.

Items requiring special cleaning or
unusual labor will incur a $10 extra service fee.

Warranty work requires valid
documentation at the time equipment is checked-in for
service.

The only way to do an effective annual on a
regulator is to disassemble it and examine each
and every part and surface in the regulator,
then clean, reassemble and test the regulator.
Because we are going into the regulator anyway,
we will use the manufacturer’s recommended
annual replacements so you come away with an
essentially brand new regulator on the inside.
All regulators will be cleaned to be used with
Nitrox (up to 40% O2). If the owner specifies we
will replace all o-rings with Viton o-rings for
Nitrox use. Unless instructed otherwise, we will
service, replace batteries and function test all
dive computers. Gauges will be de-oxidized at
the fittings and new o-rings installed on the
swivel. Gauges will be tested for accuracy to
within factory specifications. |

Tanks will be visually examined using the latest
techniques and standards and eddy current
technology when appropriate. Tanks requiring
hydros will be sent out for testing. Tanks in
for visual and hydro will be charged for in
advance, and owner is responsible for disposal
of failed cylinders. |

Unless instructed otherwise, we will service,
replace batteries and function test all dive
computers. Gauges will be de-oxidized at the

within factory specifications. We have the
ability to very accurate test, in-water and
under pressure, virtually any model or
configuration of instrument/dive computer. We
can check water tightness of many of the smaller
digital camera and camcorder housings. We can
verify larger systems in our 14ft deep pool, as
almost all leaks are going to occur within that
depth. |
