Driving Directions

Divers Training Center is located at 1108 Dobie Drive in Plano, Texas.

From US Highway 75:

• Take Exit 30 for Parker Road

• Take the ramp to head east on Parker Road

• Go east on Parker Road 0.3 miles to Avenue K

• Turn right onto Avenue K

• Go 0.1 miles south on Avenue K to Dobie Drive

• Turn left onto Dobie Drive

• Parking entrance will be to starboard. (That's your right, for you non-nautical folks.)

Classroom

Divers Training Center classroom features new furnishings for comfortable learning. In addition, our new digital presentation equipment enables us to make use of the latest training materials and methods, making class time as much fun as time in the water.

On-site Pool

Divers Training Center features an on-site, indoor heated pool designed especially for diver training. At 14 feet deep, our pool is deep enough to realistically practice ascents, descents, and neutral buoyancy techniques. Maintained at a comfortable 90°F, we are able to conduct scuba courses year round, no matter what the weather outside.

Repair Shop

Divers Training Center maintains an on-site equipment repair facility staffed by factory trained scuba technicians. Utilizing the newest tools and testing equipment available, we can provide the best service for all of your equipment repair and maintenance needs. Student Equipment

Divers Training Center has, for student use, a fleet of new Scubapro diving equipment. Our equipment fleet includes tanks, regulators, dive gauges, BCD's, masks, snorkels, and fins. A variety of sizes and styles allows us to accommodate most body types for comfort in the water. In addition, all of our equipment is constructed with the best materials and engineering advances from Scubapro, meaning Divers Training Center students train with the latest in high tech scuba hardware.

Tank Fill Station

Divers Training Center features a Bauer breathing air compressor, cascaded air storage, and fill station with the ability to fill every type of scuba tank. In addition, we also have the capacity to fill your enriched air (nitrox) tanks with standard and custom blends.

Open Water Site

Located just a 45 minute drive from Plano, Clear Springs Scuba Park in Terrell, Texas, serves as the ideal location for open water diver training. A private lake with no boat traffic, Clear Springs offers easy access and a safe environment for divers. Depths range from 20 to 50 feet, and freshwater fish abound. Park facilities include pavilions for plenty of shade from the sun between dives, large docks and ladders for easy access to and from the water, underwater platforms at 20 feet for practicing scuba skills, an air fill station, snack bar, and shower facilities. Overnight camping and RV hookups are also available.
